Training is only suitable for those already confident at leading and facilitating groups. Training includes:
*The Hub is DAY’s online interactive resource which hosts all the multimedia content needed for delivering DAY, and forums for sharing good practice. Popular culture moves so quickly, and The Hub allows DAY to constantly update the multimedia content as new songs, videos and resources become available.
DAY has been developed to ensure young people can access information and education about domestic abuse and is a not for profit enterprise. If you are unable to afford the cost of training you can apply for a scholarship. If this applies to you please fill in the Scholarship Form.
Training can only be given to those working within an existing organisation, this can be in a paid or unpaid position. This is to ensure all those trained will have access to management, support and supervision.
If you would like to train to run DAY, but are not at present working with an existing organisation, please do email us as we may be able to find a suitable organisation for you to volunteer with, in order for you to be able to apply for training.
If you are already working for an organisation, you can apply for training by completing the Training Application Form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If the organisation you work for would like to train a number of staff, please email us.
You can find out when our next training days are here.
